No, Although we encourage membership as it does help our community and help fund events, the membership is not mandatory.
DO I NEED TO BE ON A 'LIST' TO GET INTO THE NEIGHBORHOOD?
No, Belle Meade is open to the public. The security personnel are there to record license plates and report suspicious activity to law enforcement. The fences surrounding the neighborhood are to prohibit vehicular travel and are open to pedestrian travel.

DO I NEED A PERMIT TO REMOVE A TREE?
Yes, City of Miami requires permits to remove trees. Contact a 311 service center for more information. And if you see a tree touching power lines and sparking or causing another hazardous tree condition, contact FPL immediately at 1-800-4OUTAGE (1-800-468-8243) to report the condition. Please do not attempt to trim any trees or vegetation growing on or near power lines. Safety is a core value at FPL, which is why we hire specially trained line-clearing professionals to perform this work.

Whats the Stray animal fund?
The Belle Meade Stray Animal Fund is used for veterinary care of homeless or abandoned cats or dogs in order to limit the spread of disease, help a suffering animal and to be able to find them a home if possible.
Local vets charge large amounts of money for spay/neuter surgeries. Rabies vaccination and sterilization are offered for free at various vets as well as the shelter and Humane Society.
Neighbors can contact us if they have found a homeless pet that needs care. Official veterinarian receipts must be provided to the HOA by emailing
HOA@bellemeademiami.com.
The Belle Meade Stray Animal offers a fixed donation of up to $100 per stray animal until the fund is depleted.
Clinics offering free sterilization and rabies vaccination
